Rebecca started gymnastics unusually late at age 10 and quickly excelled in a sport that she clearly loved.  A member of the Regional Squad, Rebecca represented the region at several National competitions and was Berkshire Champion many times.

Upon her retirement from the sport, Rebecca began her coaching career at Thames Valley Gymnastics Club before joining Bulmershe Gymnastics Club to further aid her coaching development and to set up schools clubs in the Oxfordshire area.  After having her son, Rebecca became the Manager at Bagatelle Toys whilst working for West Berkshire Schools Sport Partnership as a gymnastics coach, preparing and delivering courses for primary schools.

Rebecca is very proud to have implemented the Key Steps Competition in primary schools and to have been able to educate PE Teachers to enable them to deliver safe and effective gymnastics classes to their pupils in order to improve the curriculum.  Rebecca then founded Tilehurst Gymnastics Club in 2009 before merging with then Thames Valley Gymnastics Club to become Kennylands Gymnastics!  With over 1000 members and an ever growing waiting list, it is clear that the club is in an enviable position and we are very excited about its future prospects.
