Saturday, May 20th 2023 was the NDP Grade National Finals.

 

This is a team competition with different regions from around England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland, and it was hosted at Fenton Manor in Stoke-On-Trent.

 

Jessie-Mae Teeuwen from Kennylands Gymnastics competed as one of the 5 selected gymnasts in the NDP Grade 1 finals as part of Team South.

 

Jessie competed first on Beam, and then on Floor. Unfortunately she slightly tweaked her ankle in her floor routine and the decision was made to pull her out of the Vault and Bar competitions to avoid a real injury.

 

Jessie's Floor score counted toward the Team Finals and the South placed 8th as a team.

 

This is Kennylands' 7th consecutive gymnast to receive selection for a National Finals team, which is a huge achievement in itself!
